ORCHARD SURGERY
Patient Representation Group
The heart and sole of any practice are the patients we care for and at Orchard Surgery we continuously strive to provide the best services, highest quality care and ensure we listen to the needs of all our patients.
With this in mind, we are very keen to build a Patient Representation Group (PRG). One of the forms available is to hear from patients who are willing to act as a contact between our patients and the practice.
Following the results of the 2011 Patient Survey, there is certainly a great interest in having a forum for patients to keep in contact and a virtual group seems to be the most popular choice. Of course, this is not always possible for some patients and not everyone feels comfortable using email or the internet so we would like to have other options available and a representative could be the answer.
We have a contact us section on the website which can be found in the left side menu of the homepage. This has a direct link to the practice and we can contact you directly if you require it.
Alternatively, if any patients would like to represent the patient group as a whole and are happy to act as a representative, patients use this form of contact which can then be passed to the practice via the representative.
This is a new venture and we are very excited to move things along so any feedback or offers to act as a representative will be very gladly received.
We are here for our patients and always treat all contact with confidentiality and respect. The new changes to primary care will bring the health care provider and patient closer together and a PRG is the first step to making this possible.
